$10 Contributions Now May Yield 10 Electoral Votes Tuesday

Internal polling tracked a 5% movement to President Bush since the Taxpayers League Liberty Fund started its radio ad campaign on 6 stations in Northern Minnesota last Thursday. The Liberty Fund is so encouraged they want to expand the ad to 7-10 additional markets in Northern Minnesota’s 8th Congressional District.

It’s Win-Win because ads are cheap in the 8th District, which is the only segment of Minnesota that is still up for grabs. Here’s the current status:
  • Minneapolis-St. Paul urban core is a lock for Kerry;
  • Twin Cities suburban ring is a lock for Bush;
  • Southern and Western Minnesota is solid for Bush;
  • Only the 8th District is still in play!
Another $2,000 for Liberty Fund radio ads in the 8th District could be enough to push President Bush over the top and deliver Minnesota’s 10 electoral votes. Even if you only have $10, $20, or $50 to contribute, a few dozen people doing that adds up much faster than the occasional big score.

Fifty $20 contributions buys a lot of radio time in Northern Minnesota and THAT is where the movement is. The President has momentum in Northern in Minnesota and $10 or $20 wisely contributed NOW can deliver Minnesota’s 10 electoral votes.

If you live outside of the Twin Cities, call now and make a contribution using your credit card, e-mail Linda Runbeck: lrunbeck@comcast.net with your name and phone number and tell Linda you want to sponsor Liberty Fund ads in Northern Minnesota. Linda will call you to get your credit card info and process your contribution. (Don’t e-mail your credit card info.)

If you live in the Twin Cities, mail your contribution today to:
